Direct3D Vsync?

Been awhile since I've worried about this but I found an old game which I wanted to try that would only run under Direct 3d and seems to hate vsync (or hate having it off?)

Either way - these days what is the easiest way to turn Direct3D vsync on/off, if it is actually possible?

Been hunting around google for a couple of days and come up with nothing :frown:

Cheers!

Should be a setting in the drivers tab of display properties (this is true for nVidia cards at least - "More D3D")

If you have something else, I wouldn't know.

I don't have a More D3d button.... I could never figure out how to universally turn Vsync on...

Argh, sorry :) prolly should have provided a bit more info.

Yeah, I'm using a Gf2 Gts (which really needs to be upgraded) using 45.33 dets which I just upgraded to from the 44.03 as I'd read somewhere that they couldn't be WHQL certified if you could change the Vsync for Direct3D.

I know in older versions there used to be the More D3D tab but its gone now ...

[Ed] Fixed :D cheers anyway [/ed]
