direct3d messed up

my direct3d will no longer work after i installed det3 6.26. games like diablo2 keep crashin after awhile as well as when i run 3dmark2k. so when i tried 6.18 again, which worked fine before, the direct3d still doesnt work. any suggestions or help will be appreciated, thanks.
 
Make sure that you remove all the driver files, including .INF files, search your HD for any nv*** files and delete them, then try reinstalling, and from what I hear, the Det 6.26 are more stable than the 6.18s.
