Direct3D drivers problem with Athlon64

I have the following system: AMD Athlon64 3000+ socket 939, Gigabyte K8NS-939 nForce3 250 Ultra, Leadtech GeForce4 Ti 4800 SE 128 Golden Sample.

My problem: whenever I alt-tab from a Direct3D game (Fifa 2005, UnReal Tournament 2004) my computer resets. This does not happen with OpenGL games, neighter with a Radeon 9200 graphics card.

I have a clean install of Windows XP with SP2, and the latest ForceWare and Detonator drivers from nvidia.com

What should I do?
