Is it recommended to load DirectX early on in the Driver loading stage of the computer buildup, or does it even matter? I just figured since DirectX seems like a fairly "low level" driver that it would be best to load it before the hardware drivers for video, sound etc... Am I thinking right here or am I just blowing smoke?
I'm building my first system (below) and I want to do the "best job" I can making the machine run as efficiently as possible... I'd like to get my network connection going first so I can d'load DX tonight as I don't have a CD burner or other storage medium to hold the DX file...
Okay to load after all other drivers tonight or wait till tomorrow with access to CD Burner at work... Is it worth the wait?
