I was using detonator 6.23 drivers, these were older than the offical ones on the www.nvida.com website. I know there are other drivers out there such as the new detonator 12.40 drivers. But these drivers are developed for higher end computers where I use a Celeron 633 oc'ed to 900 with a Geforce 2 MX, I usually play Counter-strike, Unreal Tournament, Tribes 2, and Black&White... I see that the 7.5 series drivers work the best for CS, yet 11.00+ series drivers work better for Tribes 2. Anyone have a suggestion on what drivers I should use?
As for direct x I use 8.0a. I find that my computer runs stable, and I don't get any bluescreen errors while playing games. Direct X 8.1 froze up my comptuer every 20 minutes, I know it's released but don't install it. I wouldn't go about downloading and installing this until one of the games I'm currentlyg playing recommends that I update.
