direct x 10 ????

Not sure exactly what you mean there. You have directX 9 hardware. It will never run DirectX 10 software. Fortunately, most games that do support Dx10 in the next year or so will probably have a fall-back path to Dx9 as most people will not be running Vista or have Dx10 hardware.

Will DirectX 9 card run DirectX10 compactible games? If not then thise
cards will be waste of money because from 2007 all games(80%) will be
DirectX10 compactible.

IIRC CoD had the option for DX7 and DX8 rendering, and it was a DX9 game. DX10 doesn't suddenly mean DX9 is unsupported, regardless of what Nvidia tells you.

game developers are going broke as it is.... they're not going to wirte a title that only 1% of the (rather small) market can utilize.

Your DX9 card will serve you very well for a very long time. Probably long dead and burried before there are enough DX10 titles to make you wish for more

After all, how satisfied were all those folks who bought new vids. to run Doom3 just to find out the game sukord azz.

you mean "drivers" ?

No...the card itself has to support DX10, that is Pixelshader 4.0 (correct me if i am wrong) and various other specs.

However your DX9 will still be good for a while..expect DX10 games coming SLOWLY..and i mean "slowly" 🙂

Could be wrong but you can upgrade to DX10 as far as drivers but until you get a DX10 card the extra features will not kick in. If I remember right thats how it was in the past, then again I am getting old and barely remember what happened last week 😀.
