Direct Connection to Win2k Problem...

ALright, I'm trying to connect a Win98 PC to a Win2K one. From Network and DU connections>Incoming connections, I have set up all the correct user stuff. The connetion will work, but after the Win98 pc asks me for the name of the computer i am connecting to and I type it, the network computer contents window pops up and nothing is in it!!. I'm trying to only get ONE shared folder to work. I have virtually set every user to have full access, including guest users. But the shared folder doesn't show up!

When I look under "network and DU connections" I see the item that was previously "Incoming connections". It is now changed to "<unauthenticated user>" Also, after about 20-30 secs, the connection terminates.

On the win98 machine, it already passed through the verifying user name and password stage. So it actually connects. I just can't get it authenticated.🙁 What is going on? Win2K security is a lil much in this situation. I have tried everything.

If anyone can help, thanks a lot! 😉
