Direct connection from windows 98 to windows 3.1???????

Anyone know how to do a Direct connection from windows 98 to windows 3.1?? I have to transfer apps to an old computer and her floppy aint working properly....... Can someone help????\

connect the drive with win98 as a slave drive to the system with win3.1, then just copy the files you need over.

If you don't want to pull the Drive out of one of the computers and you have a null modem or interlink cable and the Win 3.1 computer has Dos 6.22 (or any other version that comes with interlink) you can run interlink on the 3.1 machine in server mode and add the interlink device driver to the config.sys (device=c:\interlink.exe )to your win 98 machine. Then when you restart your win98 machine the drives on the win 3.1 machine will show up as network drives that you can acces (albiet slowly). You may have to add some switches the the config.sys line I listed above, check the help in dos to see what they are..
