I downloaded Direct Connect because it says there are 100 terabytes of files on it but it seems to be broken down into smaller hubs. I can't figure out how to search for any file. There is no help file that tells you what to do with it after you download it.

Oh well back to morph....

DC = Suk!
Ya, I tried it to. What you need to do, start the program, then click connect, the click public. It will list a buttload of hubs, and you hafta choose one to connect to. Some will be user maxed, and you have to chose another hub. Some have file size requirements..aka...If your not sharing x amount of data, you get kicked.
On the whole, I find DC to be VERY much non user friendly. I went straight away back to my mainstay's
Kazaa and Gnucleus.
I also use Morpheus on occasion
What can I say? I like P2P...:)

BTW, I highly recommend Gnuclues. Very much a Napster replacement, but they have EVERYTHING. You name it, its there. Programs, MP3's, pictures, movies.
