Direct connect (or DC++) college hubs?

I just stumbled across the UCLA one. Pure bliss. Anyone have other good college hubs? I'd love for there to be a UW one, but I doubt that exists...

most colleges have a DC hub. Pretty much just networks the whole campus together and gets around a lot of firewalls that the university might have setup.

When I was in the Ohio State dorms I used it but now I can't access it since I'm outside the network

someone wanna instruct me in what im dooin wrong. i am connect and everything. have 40 gigs shared. but when i search nothing ever comes up. EVE. on public or privite servers.

do you have a firewall? cause the same thing is happening to me but ithink it's my router and i need to open some ports, but it's 2am so i tihnk i'll do it tommorow

Try turning on passive mode, it is in the options.

There is a Cal Poly SLO address and I do know it.

There is a DC hub for people on campus here and it is freaking fast!
I download around 4MB-8MB/sec off this!
Of course that is only an on campus hub, if I go to any other hub it is way slower.
