From what I understand, it's like Costco with a really expensive membership, crappy products, stupidly high markups, and poor service.
...which means it's a complete and utter piece of crap company.

Avoid anything that has commercials on daytime television.

Yeah, it's a bad idea, but no one is giving any specifics. They charge a huge fee to join (maybe $3000 or more). They don't handle everything you might want. They won't go to bat for you if there's a problem with your order (they submit your order to the manufacturer, that's it). Notice their commercials talk about people saving $10,000, $20,000, even $50,000? That's because you better be buying a boatload of stuff to make it worth paying the (nonrefundable) membership fee.
They won't let you compare prices and they will only let you visit once as a non-member (so they can apply high-pressure sales tactics while you're in their store). They won't tell you ahead of time what it costs to join. If you don't join that day you can't come back later. Wouldn't that alone be a red flag?
I can see where it would make sense in very narrow circumstances - you know they carry exactly what you want, you know what they will be charging, you know what your savings will be, and you know it will more than cover the membership cost. Only problem is, you can't find all that out before you join.

If you are at home during the day (and not working), you should probably avoid all of those. Except maybe soap.
