DIR-615 Losing wifi signal in other rooms

I have a DLink DIR-615 wifi router. It worked fine for over a year.
Now when I go into other rooms of my smaller apartment, my iphone loses the signal, and often regains it off and on. I don't think it is my phone, it is brand new and with a clean new install.

Is there something I can do with this router? Or if I need to just get a new one, can someone recommend something under $50?

It is not necessarily Dying.

It might be that something in the Environment is messing up the Signal amd make it too weak for the iPhone.

Smart phones WIFI is Not the "best" long distance WIFI in the world.

Can you try a laptop with Wireless at the same spots tat the iPhone gives you trouble?

Well my apartment isn't that big so going into the other room only adds like 8 ft. and a wall, but I leave the door open... but my notebook doesn't seem to have trouble in there while my iPhone does. I guess the weirdest thing is that my iphone had no trouble for over a year getting a signal in other rooms. =/

The Laptop's Wireless is stronger than the phone.

It might be that the signal in this Room is just strong enough for the Laptop but Not enough for the phone (strong is Not bars, it is Signal to Noise Ratio).

There is a chance that getting High Power Router like this will solve the problem.

Buffalo. High Power. Dual band. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833162047

Or lay a cable to the Room and install there a $30 Router configured as an Access Point.
