Dippin' Dots

Queasy

Everyone familiar with Dippin' Dots?? You are? Good.

They need a new slogan. Seriously. They've been the "Ice Cream of the Future" since the company was established in 1988. Either the future is now or it ain't ever gonna happen guys.

/random silly rant of the day

overpriced, then again, they do need to keep them cooler.

perhaps they can cut a lot of overhead by selling them in vending machines. as it would be easy to mix and match flavors.

I had heard about them a while ago, and been wanting to try them since then.

I finally made it to a town where they had a Dippin Dots...woohoo!

Get to the DD place.... a small (maybe 1/3 cup of the dots) was $7.00.

Aint no ice cream that good...lol.

We ended up at a ColdStone (another place I wanted to try)...still over priced (IMO) but we both got large sundaes and spent about $12. (Much more ice cream for your dollar...when comparing the two)

When I was in NJ like.. 2 years ago, they had a vending machine that sold them.

Well, atleast AFAIR. (Remember)

There's a coldstone next to the fuddruckers across the street (I'm at work atm), but I've never been there. Mainly because I live 40 miles away and I never want ice cream *that* badly.

it is pretty fvcking good.

A ColdStone Creamery just went in right down the street from us. Haven't gone in to try it yet, but we want to.

Never heard of Dippin Dots until now. My friend said she has had them before and it is really good. There's one 50 miles away from me at a big mall that I sometimes go to.. next time I'm there I'll give it a try.

I've had Cold Stone too many times 🙂 It is oh so good!

about 10 years ago, I worked at the local county fair for a friend of my dad's selling pizza. Dippin' Dots was beside our booth. We did alot of trades. Good stuff. 🙂 Not worth the $$, but tasty none the less.

Dangit! That was part of my comedy routine in my mind. I had a whole bit in my head about how it should be the ice cream of the present by now....yada yada yada.

I agree, though.

<puts tinfoil hat back on to prevent anyone else from stealing my thoughts>
😛

Coldstone is good...but they seriously need to offer a smaller portion size at a lower price.

As it is, even the small size is enough to make me sick to my stomach and costs like $3.50.

All I want is the small kids serving as an option for $2.00.

But I can't get it.

I just can't fathom how somebody could eat the 1000+ calorie "Gotta Have it!" gutbuster tub in one sitting.

😕
