Dinovo Edge replacement - does it exist

OK, hands down the best HTPC keyboard I've ever owned. I've had the thing for 6 years (since launch), dropped hundreds of times, stepped on, sat on and it's been rock solid. Unfortunately I think it's close to the end of life now, drops connection, unresponsive and so forth.

Unfortunately it seems logitech doesn't even make them and there's no decent replacement for something similar. I really love this keyboard and would buy another in a heartbeat but in absence of stock is there something that comes close to it?

Money is no object when it comes to keyboards for me.

I've toyed around with a few but all far short. Basically needs to be wireless, with integrated trackpad and light as possible.

Suggestions welcomed.

Thanks

Nik

You can still buy a dinovo edge plenty of places. Just do a google search and a bunch of stores selling it will show up.

Strange, my diNovo Edge also started having issues. I'm now using a cheap ioGear wireless keyboard with a trackball. Not as sexy looking but extremely functional and so far works w/o problems. Have used it for a half year. Only issue is that the trackball kind of grinds so isn't as precise.

This is what I have. Got it on some kind of deal for around $35 or so.

Not quite sure what to do with my diNovo Edge. Maybe I can try hooking it up to a different computer in case that computer just doesn't like the dongle anymore?

Good point, I guess when I said they don't make them it seems I should've specified that they don't sell them in Canada.

Looks like I'll be buying another but still shocked. 6 years on and no one's come up with a better htpc keyboard inc. logitech themselves.

Did you look at the one I linked? It is easier to use while holding it than the diNovo Edge because the trackball is under your right thumb and the buttons are under your left thumb. It isn't as fancy looking, but is really functional.

You can also check out the Lenovo HTPC keyboard. It is really tiny so isn't for a lot of typing. It basically is a fancy remote/presenter with a tiny attached keyboard. Two friends of mine have it and they really love it for HTPC use.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Found an ebay auction that sells new dinovos so looks like buying the same keyboard again :) 6 years on.
