so the kids have been wanting some friend fish, and i had to oblige. picked up a few trout filets and got to work. and I figured that since I havent made a souffle in a while, Id make one for dessert.

Fried fish and french fries:

for the souffle i made a minty cream sauce with some fresh mint i had growing, and i topped it all off with a touch of powdered sugar. no pics, i was...busy, so youll have to trust me, but it was there, and all of it was delicious.

fwiw, souffles are often made to rise over the top of the dish. this rose perfectly, I just didnt make a recipe big enough to rise because I didnt need that much (that dish made 5 generous servings anyway)

I'm having beef kabobs with steamed asparagus drowned in real butter and seasoned with lemon pepper.

Not where I'm from, we just use tomato sauce (ketchup in your language) :)

Looks yummy. I will probably eat something very boring tonight.

I like tartar sauce and malt vinegar with fish & chips like that.
