I've been over there but I'm not entirely sure..these look like they were just found from the backyard so they would appear to be pretty common.

Its a delicacy...but pretty easy to find if you're looking for it. I had cobra last time i was there...tastes like chicken..but more rubbery.

Where the fuck is the closest McDonalds?

I ate some awfully fucked up stuff when I was there 35+ years ago...never did develop a taste for the snakes...

My girl friend is over in Vietnam right now. I think she would pass out and die if she had snake. In fact, I know she would pass out and die.

Actually if I were there I would like to try *some* of their cuisine.

My friend did some military exercises in Bangkok with the Thai army. One of the rituals the soldiers over there have is drinking cobra's blood. Apparently they mix it with whiskey and pound it like a shot. Sounded absolutely disgusting.

One thing leads to another and before you know it you're eating like a Korean.

pics remind me of an anthony bourdain show where he ate a cobra heart....fresh and still beating.

Stir fried spicy snails + beer = yummy. I think some restaurants here serve snake soup/stew.
