Yes, I know, it sounds very funny. :D

But is it a real word? Webster's lists it as a synonym for "loyal" but does not have it listed in their dictionary. So, if anyone out there (that could be you!) has an Oxford-English dictionary, could you check and see if "dinky-di" is indeed a word? In case you're wondering why I care, I want to use this word for a college essay. Hopefully, I'll be able to use a ver archaic word. Thanks!

Sounds Vietnamese to me, perhaps. Or maybe I've just been watching too many war movies.

i doubt any of u really care... but honest to god... there was an australian cartoon called dinky-di...

it was pretty much a bunch of endangered animals fighting against mafisto... some evil guy... the animals could talk and stuff...

i doubt the cartoon ever aired in the states... i used to live in saudi arabia so i got a chance to see stuff from around the world...

Well, as long as I am not the one making up the word, I bet it could work! I have a space to explain my choices and if it really is slang for "true blue" or "genuine," then it sounds like a winner to me. That, and the fact it sounds really funny, could say some good things about me....

Thanks for all your help!
