From a humble start a couple weeks ago, we have now out powered all other teams. We should be able to reach #5 by mid January at the current rate.

Keep adding those machines, and tell your friends on other projects.

Currently smoking the top team by over 20% for today.

Hey, I was just checking out the Dimes stats page and noticed this:

Top 10 Users by ASes since Monday
User Count
1. PY 222 2 132

3. Cousin Caterpillar 776

Sort of weird since I only show a total of 17 ASes and AS Links.

I honestly think that the agent or stats are bugged as I have not added any new machines yet my stats have sky rocketed. I only alllow icmp yet according to the Dimes forum we are all doing udp. I have my firewall blocking all outgoing udp so I'm actually not doing any traceroutes or pings, so why have my stats gone up?

I have added one new machine. But the same here, my stats have also gone way up.

my stats have gone down, and are all over the place, and I allow UDP. There are several clients I have to keep restarting.

Had to take Dimes off the PC at home, seemed to be interferring with my VOIP. Wife wasn't very happy.

Numbers are all over the place. No ryhme or reason to it that I can tell. I know they were having server issues, and several clients stopped, but really, this is all over the place.

I think it's from old ones that have been rediscovered.

What problems have you had with it?

When I check CPU useage of Dimes (window closed) it occasionally shows ~0.4% CPU useage ,that's all
It uses a little net bandwidth rather than CPU power ,so it may not be a good idea on dialup but will be fine on broadband.
Assuming your not redlining any download limits

Works fine alongside S@H1
