Dimage Z5 Digital Camera

I like to photograph wildlife, so the zoom and macro mode are really nice features. But one thing I hated about my older digital camera is how much time it takes for me to turn it on, focus on a subject, and take a picture. By the time my old camera did this the bird I wanted to photograph became extinct.

So what's it like with the Dimage Z5? Yeah I should probably play with one in the store but I'm an hour away from a store that might have this camera right now. So I wanna hear what you guys have to say about it before I watse my time...

So would you recommend buying this camera, overall?
