Only time I had dim sum I was puking the next day. My conscience knows damn well that it most likely had NOTHING to do with the dim sum, but my subconscious won't let me get past it.

Sushi for me, thanks!

Dim Sum by a mile.

Hot dead farm animals > Cold dead fish

not if its fresh enough 😀

That's even more disgusting. How fresh do you want your sushi to be? Sushi bar right next to the river so the chef can hook something and put it on some rice? Gross.

About 1/3rd of all dim sum places i know have all day dim sum. They may not necessarily have cart pushers but menus instead.

Dim Sum is delicious in its greasy goodness... always good. My opinion is tainted as I've had a few recent bad sushi expiriences. With Dim Sum there is ALWAYS the grease /nod.

you cant even touch dimsum

pork and shrimp dumplings cant be beat.and other foods i know in chinese but not the translations of.

You know what I'd like?

A place that makes good "small dragon buns"...whatever "xiao long bao"s are called in English. After hitting up Joe Shanghai every time I visit NYC and the usual joints in Toronto, it really makes me want a restaurant that makes those. You'd think with the number of Chinese in SE Michigan that we'd have more authentic restaurants 😛
