You can't just apt-get install it?

Software I am currently using: Firefox, Thunderbird, Gaim, amaroK, Irssi, Azureus, giFT+giFTui & OpenOffice.

you use:
apt-cache search programname

to look for installable packages. A alternative is to us aptitude or dselect. They are dos-style front ends and you hit / button and search thru the listings that way.

Maybe your using Dillo instead of dillo? It's case sensitive.

Also there is a nice gui front-end called synaptic that you can install.

Which version of Debian are you using?

I've been tracking down info for lazy newbies all day, might as well not stop now. :p
