Is there a noticible difference between the geforce 2 mx or the GTS...i have a p3 800... 192.. so could you tell me if it is worth paying more ? ?? ?
 
I suggest you take a look at mwave.com for the A-Open Geforce 2 MX. I have one and it works great and it is currently offered for $99 plus shipping. Card ships with WinDVD, and the usual utilities. I also vouch for multiwave as a quality vendor.

from what ive seen there is a HUGE difference between GTS and MX ...

mx has sdram ... and will get real low framerates at 1024x768x32 and higher ...

if you wanna play games at 640x480 or 800x600 ... or use 16bit ... then gts is fine ... but if you use a 17inch monitor or bigger ... i'd think the GTS is a much better buy .. especially since they have dropped down in price to around 150 bucks ...
 
with your cpu speed, get the GTS, you WILL notice a difference, check out the for sale forum as ive seen many sell for around $130. buy.com is good too but dont know if they have any in stock with all the orders they were getting lately...
