Hello all. Right now i have P3 based system. However, in the future I plan to upgrade to a dual Athlon system. While I am certain on that, I have a dilemma. I currently have the 64bit Adaptec 29160 scsi card along w/ 3 10k 9 gig Cheetahs. This card works both in 32 bit and 64 bit mode and also at both 33 and 66 MHrtz. Currently I am using it in 32 bit / 33 MHrtz mode. The Tyan motherboard has 64 bit / 33 MHrtz slots. However, it is a possibility that the next wave of dual athlon motherboards (based of the "760MPX" chipset to come out soon) will have 64bit / 66 MHrtz slots (to compete w/ the P4 Xeons and other server mobos). Well I was wondering what opinions/experiences you guys might be able to share on this issue.
Thanks,
