My Dell Precision came with the FireGL v3400 card. I don't plan to do any 3D modelling or anything of that sort. At the most, I will be using Photoshop to finetune pictures.
I have a unopened GeForce 6600 thats waiting to go on ebay ... should I swap and return the firegl back to Dell ? It will get me $120 back.
I don't play any games on this PC. I may watch a DVD or two but then again I have a standalone HT for that stuff.
The only thing I might try is hook up the DVI out to my HDTV to watch WMV-HD movies.
When it comes to text resolution and 2-D business apps .... will the firegl be a noticeably superior to the geforce 6600 ?
