Dilbert Strip on Rebates

I've done very well with rebates. I just avoid shady retailers with shady rebates and so far I've been good. Or ones where there's a lot of cash out of pocket... I think $70 is about my max on an item. Overall I've gotten a lot of things below cost that way. (Combined w/ coupons). Key is to keep copies of paperwork and upcs. I'm not anal enough to keep track of which ones I've sent and already received, so, I may have missed a few but I still think I've come out ahead in the long run. But it is a PITA and I don't like it.
