Okay, first, Wally finds out that Ted is on vacation. That way, Ted is the scapegoat and can't defend himself. That's the set-up for the 2nd part which is funnier. Wally goes to the "store" which is actually Ted's cubicle.

Sorry... it doesn't deserve the full "hahaha".

It was funny at first because it was humorous in a stale way... and then people realized that it's actually just stale, not humorous.
