Can someone help me define this term and in what ways and to what degree are businesses using this technology??? Or can somebody gimme a link???

a best example of using this software... Movie Trailers

where they take all the cool clips from the movie, add a song not in the origonal soundtract, and mix up the order of the clips so that the movie looks cooler than it really is.

Software to edit digital video with. 😀

What businesses are you refering to? I doubt very many grocery stores use it, but I dare say that everyone who edits video or film uses it (aside from News stories which is still mainly linear tape-to-tape editing).
