Digital Security Cameras - Tips/Suggestions

He have a little bit of theft going on around work and we'd like to install digital video cameras to help catch some of the perps. A bar I used to work at had a similar system which recorded straight to the hard drive of a computer and you could also check into the system from home or anywhere with an internet connection. That's idealy what we would like to do. Anyone here familiar with such systems and have any recommendations...? So far Google has led me here. Suggestions, hints, tips, etc. would be greatly appreciated...

Talked to them just now. They don't have anything that can record straight to a hard drive and can be checked from anywhere.

Anyone else know of any vendors/software that can do what I need...?
