Digital Research External CDRW

Im looking into getting a portable CDRW. Mainly for my laptop but I would probably use it at work or other places. I have a good CDRW on my main machine at home.

I am looking at the Digital Research D522452EU USB 2.0 CDRW. It sells for $139.99 at Best Buy. I realize ill have to buy a USB 2.0 card for full performance.

Does anyone have any advice/oppinion on this drive?

That seems a little bit expensive ...
You should look up Sales Circular ...
I would not pay more than ~$90

The price is prior to any rebates etc. I hate rebates and I rarely bother sending in for them. The only rebate that I can remember sending in for was my laptop which was $200 bucks.

I suppose I could use the money for my two year old son's college education but that is already paid for......LOL
