Digital Research DR-CDRW2410, rebadged?

There is info on this in the Hot Deals forum. OD was selling this drive for $99 less a $20 off $75 coupon and a $30 rebate. The drives were either Lite-On or Mitsumi. Mine was Lite-On.
 
I've had terrible luck with my Digital Research 40x CD-ROM drive that I bought a few years back. The thing is about as far from reliable as anything I have ever seen. Of course, that probably won't carry over to the CD-RW and both the Lite-On and the Mitsumi are rated decently.

I just got a 16x Digital Research burner in a trade and so far it is doing great Even copys sd2 disc!
