Digital Picture Frames

Hey all, I'm looking to get a decent video picture frame, but in my searching I'm not ginding many options... anyone have any experience with this? I don't like the Ceiva b/c I don't want to pay a monthly fee, I want one that I can pop my CF card into...

buy an old laptop... strip it... put the contents in a frame box... and there you go much cheaper.
you can use a network line and a little homemade program to let you change the pictures from another computer... or wireless if you wanna get fancy (even though you will still have the power cord anyway - unless you wanna keep the heavy battery in and have to charge your picture frame heh). or use wireless to change it. or the cd-drive (have it autodetect).. infinite possibilities
