I've had my Kodak frame for well over 5yrs and simply love it. Wanted to get one for the inlaws for Christmas, but criiiiiiiipes. All these new ones are a joke and MORE expensive than my 5yr old one.

I see 16:9 ratio ones? ones with sound? remote controls?!?!!?

I just want a simple, desktop frame that either has built in memory or excepts memory cards and plays a slide show.

Anyone have any feedback?

LOL!
I (and everyone that has saw it) has loved mine for years now. And now these things are catching on and they are putting more gadgets on them then people need making them $$. Just stupid. I mean who wants a frame that plays music or has a remote?!?!? and WS pics? WTF?!

$200?!?!? I bought one FIVE YEARS AGO for $100!
Im sure its not as beautiful as a screen as that one, but I'm not sitting there watching movies on the thing. Just needs to present a decent picture.

Ya, I have my old Kodak frame too... doesn't display anything other than 640x480, but I love it!

You're right, this year they seem to be catching on a little. I'd like to find one that has wireless built in so that I can pics over my network ;)

from thinkgeek.com or whatever? Was like $100 on supersale. All the Kodak frames that were before their time. 640x480 is all you freaking need. Thats the point. I'm not watching a movie on the thing.

I said since I got the thing it needs to be networked (though at the time wireless was unheard of). Toss in a 512MB SD card at 640x480 you have a mountain of pics though.

Bought two of those, for my parents, on the Wednesday before BF and had them price match on BF. Had a feeling that they would sell out fast, and they did.

I can't tell if it has a built in memory. It does have a USB connection, but also memory card slots. So I bought the $8 512MB SD cards that Target had on sale on BF also, just in case. My wife is going to load up the memory cards with pics of the kids for the grandparents.
