As the popularity of this form of computer use, software and hardware, grows, would it be possible to have a dedicated forum for Digital Photography/Imaging?

Right now it is fragmented all over the place.

A digital camera isn't really a computer "peripheral", and neither is an MP3 player.

I really think a digicam forum would attract *much* more traffic and interest than a programming forum. Heck, why not just create both and make everyone happy?

No problem - why not both? It doesn't have to be either or.

I'm all for it, I'm a pro shooter using digital SLR equipment and I'm always trying to figure out the best keywords to find out such things as "which system is better for Photoshopping, AMD or INtel?" "single or dual processor", etc. I'm talking PC, not MAC, it's out of my price range and I've been a DOS/WIN boy for 21 years! Yikes, that's a career!
