Looking to get a digital photo printer for my dad for Christmas. I was looking at this one

Canon CP-100

Hes getting a Canon S230 for christmas already and wanted to get him a printer thats easy to use. Are there any similar printers out there that are better? Thanks
 
Not sure if it's in the same price range but the Canon S900 is an awesome printer. Best PHOTO printer I have come across, especially when using Canon Photo Printer Pro PR-101. I have the S9000 which is the A3 alternative.

Sorry about not answering your question but just thought I would let you know that the best photo printing I have seen to date.

Im looking for a small printer like the canon CP-100

Was just wondering if anyone had any experiences with it or if anyone knows if there is another printer out there that is similar and is around the same price that is better

 
Sorry that I can't be of any help in refernce to the cp 100, however, I just bought a canon i850 and it prints pictures wonderfully.
I know that sams sells them for 168.xx and canon offers a $30.00 rebate on them now. Not sure of the proce of the cp100.
