If the graphics card has a max resolution of 1600x1200 over the DVI, would it be able to display 1680x1050?

I know that 16x10 is less pixels than 16x12, but want to know if the card would be able to output 16x10

I believe that it s single link DVI restriction but all modern cars AFAIK should be dual-link DVI

Up to 1920x1200 they just leave data out of the stream so they can fit the extra pixels in.
