Digital out help?!!!

Ok here goes, what type of cable do i need to hook up my digital out of my santa cruz sound card to my digital receiver
The yellow connector on my santa cruz is a 1/8" JACK...
I tried a regular digital coaxial cable but it wont fit in the hole and stay in there stable!!! thx guys

you need

1) a 1/8 inch MONO male to RCA converter

2) a run of regular RCA cable

that's it...adapter's can be had at radio shack
