Digital input on the Z-560?

I was just wondering if the Z-560 speakers use the digital out on my sound card, or the 2/3 audio outs? Thanks. I've made up my mind, getting these babies within a week hopefully. Right in time for the start of school.

no they use the analog.

Alrity... what's the difference between digital and analog output? Is there an advantage of digital vs analog?

Well the sound you hear is analog, so it depends on which digital to analog converter is better, the speakers or the sound card's. I have no idea about which one is better etc.

Ah. I think I understand now. Thanks. I'm assuming that only speakers with digital decoders use the digital out on my sound card.
