Digital electric meters

The mechanical meters often couldn't measure small amounts of electricity, so you got some free electricity. Also they would begin to grind and slow down as the years went on like any mechanical device. The digital one's pickup everything and don't deteriorate. (I intern'd at a place that made the new digital meters)
