Well what motherboard is it?

The thermosisters on certain Abit board have known to be quite innacurate (KT7 series).
Although, the one on my KT7-E is quite nice: )

Motherboard, motherboard, motherboard. I believe the SOyo P4 boards read the internal diode....

A digital doc measurement, can, at beast, measure partial IHS temp, along with air and other temps mixed in... The diode is far more accurate.

P.S. jh0sken612, htere's nothing wrong with the abit kt7 series socket-themristor. yes, it reads a bit higher than "average", but it is closer to actual "die" temp compared to the average reading.
