anybody ever used this? are there any better temp/fan speed contollers out there in the same price pange ($50 USD)

Depends. At the time I got it so it could thermally control my fans paired with a temp probe. Unfort, this is more annoying then anything, cause everytime it got within 1C of the desired temp that I set, the fan would run for a few secs, then shut off. Then turn on, shut off, turn on..repeat repeat. Needless to say it was really annoying. I just use it to monitor temps now. There are alot of other companies that make temp indicators for a beat cheaper price. If you don't wanna bother with the fan controll or monitor your fan RPM's like the digi doc does, your better of with something else cheaper. A few pics of mine, though I modified it with blue LED's and painted it, those orange LEDS were gay as hell.

The grill in the front is small tiny 30mm fan for HDD cooling, but with all the wires that come out of the digic, I didn't see a way in hell it would be of any good, and plus it crapped out after a month and made a terrible grinding noise.
