Digital Connector on speakers and soundcard

Just a quick question regarding speakers and the digital out on soundcards.

Currently I have a Soundblaster Live and Creative Cambridge SoundWorks speakers (FPS 2000 or something like that) that use the digital out. It's not the RCA type jack it's the smaller regular computer speaker type jack. I like the speakers and don't want to change, but am also making a new computer that will have the 6 channel integrated sound with the RCA digital out connector or will have to buy one of the new Soundblaster audigy's that has a digital out (the smaller computer style jack).

My question is: Will the speakers I currently have work with the RCA type digital out jack that is commonly found on integrated sound solutions (with some sort of adapter obviously) and/or will it work on the new Audigy's with the digital out jack?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Eric

One last bump before I let this die. I'm mainly curious about the SPDIF to Digital Coax connector. Is one available?
