hi. i was looking to buy a digital camera and i have about 400 dollars in mind to spend. i was wondering if someone could recommend a camera that they've had good experiences with.

I've personally had good experiences with my Fuji FinePix 2600z - Sample shots I've taken.

If you do a search you'll find loads of best camera for $xxx threads, for example....

I've had good experience with several Olympus digicams. I think anything over 3MP is a bit wasted, and really 2MP is sufficient for everyday stuff. Look for a good zoom and a camera small enough to fit in your pocket unless you have specific camera needs.
