Digital cameras for under $200?

My parents are going to give me a digital camera for Christmas, and I'm very very lucky that they're going to spend this much, so I don't want anyone to say "well, cough up some more money, etc etc," because even $200 will be a lot. I've only started to look around, but I don't know where to start. The HP Photosmart 318 looked interesting at BB, but I couldn't find reviews for it.

Any ideas?

I have the HP 315 and think it is a good camera for the price. It takes great pictures! I think that you would be very happy with the 318.

Fuji FinePix 1300 (only 2x digital zoom) or the Fuji FinePix 1400 (3x digital zoom, 2x optical)...both should be under $200.00. They take great pics for the price. 🙂

Damn Roger beat me to it.

If you're curious how the HP 315 compares to the Fuji 2300 here's a side by side comparison and as expected the Fuji whoops it.

DAMN I THINK I JUST FOUND THE HP 315 FOR $57!!! after $100 rebate.

I'm going to order one first then I'll post details in the Hot Deals forum and post a link in this thread as well or people can PM me.

I'd get the Fuji, they make awesome quality digicams.
