which camerea do you guys think is better? well the fuji is.. but is the extra 50 or 60 dollars worth it?

I would pick the Fuji anyday... not having optical zoom is a BIG minus...

Neither, I would buy the Canon PowerShot A40 for a few bucks more and it takes CompactFlash vs SmartMedia which the Fuji and Oly take.

However if I HAD to choose between those two, it's easy the Fuji 2600 is an awesome digicam, I'd pick that no doubt about it.

SmartMedia is a technological dead end, and will likely be phased by the end of next year. I would avoid any product that uses it like the plague.

Just recieved my Canon A40 upon reccomendations from Rossman.

Very satisfied. Would reccomend this camera as well.
