Digital camera

So I plug in my digital camera and it worked last time in mac. This time nothing comes up and I cannot find it in finder. But it shows up in disk utility. This is so annoying, I searched google and it seems many people have this problem but i cannot find a solution?

It would really suck to have to boot into windows to import pictures. Then reboot again...

Go into Applications
Open Image Capture.

From in there you can import the pictures and/or tell it to open iPhoto when you plug in the camera again.

What changed between this time and the last time you plugged in your camera.

The memory card got corrupted, dunno how can only assume from trying to get it to work in mac. In windows I was able to format... lost the pictures but its working in mac now.

Another questions though. When i open a picture i cant hit next to goto the next picture in the folder? I have to open each one individually?

No.. do a Select All, then press Space bar (or whatever key you have setup for Quicklook. This creates a quick little album that you can arrow through.

Also, do you format your camera memory cards on the computer? If so, I'd recommend against it. I've never had a problem with my memory cards and while it might not be directly associated with this, but I always format in the camera. Much safer. I wholly recommend that.
