Digital Camera Suggestions?

So yeah, I had a digital camera, but it was stolen at E3. Now I'm looking to get a replacement in the $300 range. Size isn't a huge issue either way, and I'd like to have a decent level of optical zoom. Any ideas?

Just got my Canon A70. Well in your price range. I am happy with it.

8 or 10x optical zoom

I second, third, forth and fifth this opinion.
Awesome cameras. A bit more than $300 though. The older C700 (2.1MP) can be had cheaper.

Canon A70 is a nice choice. A lot of people will recommend it.

you can get t6eh C-720 for ~350 I beleive I have it . its soooooooooo nice

Fujifilm 2800 - MSRP of $299 @ 2.1mp and 6x OPTICAL zoom 🙂 Or, if you want to drop a few more bucks, go for the 3800 - you'll jump up 3mp.

I am very happy with my Fuji 3800, got it for 300 back in January. Price matched at Staples to some company on the net I never heard of.

If zoom is important to you, I'd buy the Olympus C-720 for $350.

I like the Canon S230 Elph digital cameras. 3.2 megapixels. Nice picture quality.

I also think that the Canon A70 is the best camera for the price out there!
