Digital Camera - Sony DSC-W1

I'm looking to buy a digital camera, and this one looks like a pretty good buy. I'd like to stick with Sony since I already have a collection of memory sticks, and don't want to pay extra money for storage.

So far, the only review I can find is here.

It doesn't seem like these are available yet, though maybe someone out there has one and can tell me what they like or don't like about it.

I don't think that camera was released yet, or was it?

I had it's predecessor, the Sony V1. It was an awesome point and shoot camera. It had really bad-ass auto mode as well as manual modes.

If you are into photography and do it as a passion/hobby, I'd suggest looking into a DSLR 🙂 Well that's just my opinion. If you just take random shots here and there the W1 would do you good as well.

It is a lot smaller than the V1. I'd pick one up if I had the extra cash just to have it as a backup/point and shoot camera.
 
I would love a dSLR, but I don't have the cash to buy one right now. 🙂

Supposedly the w1 is to be released this month.
