Digital Camera Recommendations

Well, it's that time of the year again, when the little ones start hittin' up dad with their Christmas wishes. And my nine year old has an itch for a digital camera! How about that?!
I use a Canon S2-IS. Last year I bought my older daughter a Sony DSC-S40. And now my youngest one is in the market. . .sigh. What's a dad to do?
She tells me she wants one just like her sister, and that it should be able to take videos, too. Hehe. . .
Any recommendations? Thank you.

dpreview.com is a great camera review site. I use it all the time.

As a preliminary recommendation, you really can't go wrong with Canon's SD series.

QFT. I just picked up an SD800 yesterday, and so far so good. Image stabilization is actually a really useful feature. It's really compact, too, and takes great pictures.

Edit: Oh. For a 9 year old. Shoul've read the OP. Yea, Canon A series is good.

For a nine year old. . .$100 give or take.
Just found this deal over at Newegg. Anyone familiar with it?

In that price range, Canon A430 if you can find one will be perfect. They go for about $120. Anything else is worthless.
