Hi all,
I will be going to Wales this summer, and I would really like to have a nice digital camera to record some of the phenomenal sights. What I'm looking for is something that:
1. Is relatively easy to use. I'm pretty tech-savvy, but I'd rather not have to spend a lot of time learning how to use the device, since I probably won't have it for very long before I leave.
2. Takes good-looking pictures. They don't need to be professional quality, of course, but high image quality is important.
3. Has a decent amount of storage (or easily swappable memory via memory sticks, flash cards, or whatever).
4. Has a nice (i.e. low-profile) camera-computer interface. I'd prefer to just plug it in via USB and have Windows detect it as an "external storage device", but any non-idiotic file management system is acceptable.
5. Has good battery life and battery recharging options.
6. Budget is not a huge issue, but I would like to keep it under $500, if possible.
