Digital Camera question

What sort of digital camera would you need to take pictures of a computer and post it on the net? I know it wouldn't have to be much. Would one of those egg-shaped web cams do, or do I need something like the HP PhotoSmart 215?
 
If that ALL you plan to do with it, I would get one of those $40 webcams that you can use as a makeshift digital camera. Do not get the egg shaped ones, as those have to be connected to your pc to operate. Now granted, this wont give you anywhere near the quality a good 2-3 megapixel camera will give ($300-$400) but for posting on the net, should do fine.
